Day 41 - Portsmouth to Bordon

I woke after only a few hours sleep totally disorganised as we were without our rock Michelle who had to leave to go back home to Spain in the early hours... However, we got there in the end...

At breakfast we were met by Zen and Sarah who were walking part of the journey.. Thanks guys... That really meant a lot.

Alison, Sarah, Zen and I set off via Cosham... It was fantastic to be able to spend some time with Zen and Sarah on this stage. Such lovely people...

After the 8 mile stage where they had to leave, Alison and I continued our journey towards Bordon. It was at this stage also that Alison realised that she had put one white sock andone black sock on this morning!! (See how disorganised we are without you Michelle?!!)

The next part of the day took us off road and over the hills... and steep they were too...This slowed us down a bit further but the views from the top were fantastic..

On the way down, we had to navigate some very steep hills and fences.. It actually added to the adventure...

We stopped for a while at a Weatherspoons bar and ate some soup... and a chat with the staff about the walk and then headed off again to make sure we finished before the sun went down...

I have to say that Alison did FANTASTICALLY well completing the full 27 mile stage andis a little sore tonight... But well done Alison.. That was fantastic

In the evening, me met up with Martin Bridges (https://www.facebook.com/oneparent.onebike) who took me back down to Portsmouth to pick up Brum and drive it to the hotel near Bordon which he sponsored us for... Thank yu so much Martin

We had chinese take-out which was a "taste sensation" :) before retiring to bed..

The total completed now is 1027.2 miles (1653 km)

Day 42 takes us to Woking. Martin and hopefully Alison (depending on how much sheis suffering in the morning
