When One Day Closer was originally opened (as "Aleyah's" in my daughter's name), its primary objectives were to raise awareness of parental child abduction and parental alienation and to provide some charitable support for the UK registered charity, Reunite International Child Abduction Centre. I have been happy to be a part of setting up this venture.
I believe that these objectives have been partly achieved but in the future, I would like One Day Closer to be more actively involved in providing support, advice and contacts for families that are affected by parental child abduction.
With this in mind, One Day Closer will now be closed for refurbishment to build a more office based environment. It
will reopen later in the year as a place where affected
families can visit (or call) and One Day Closer can provide the information and
contacts affected families might need to enable them to be reunited with their
children or even better, try to stop an abduction happening in the first place by taking the expert advice from the Reunite International charity.
