Day 25 - Bordeaux to Marsas

After a night relaxing in a hotel, I was expecting to wake this morning all refreshed and ready to go... Unfortunately, despite the smiles on the pics, I was a little unwell today but regardless, I made the distance and still on schedule...

Michelle, as always, set off a little further ahead at first... She usually drives approx 5km ahead for the first stop to make sure we are both on the right track...

Unfortunately, Sybil the Satnav was taking her on a tour of Bordeaux so started the first part of the day actually ahead of her..

When she finally found her way into the industrial part of Bordeaux we made a quick stop to view the suspension bridges in a little park and then carried on the journey...

The weather didnt really know what to do today... One second it was raining, then sunny, then really windy and at the end of the day, back to stormy again.

Marsas is basically a very small village with very little around so we are about to pitch the tent and get some snacks from our "in car snack box"

Today was slightly shorter in distance at 21.7 miles which makes the total 638.1 miles walked (1027 km) in 25 days.... Quite pleased with that :) x

Tomorrow I go to Mirambeau and also have an interview with Ken Thompson (Dads on the air) community radio
